Program - Janssen-Cilag Fellowship
One-month
advanced training Fellowships in various psychiatric specialties are
available through the POST Program for psychiatrists working in the
Asia-Pacific countries. There are quarterly intakes each
year for the training courses (February, May, August and November).
The placements are arranged individually within each term. There are
a limited number of scholarships for each intake depending on the
type of course and available funding.

Janssen-Cilag offices. The scholarship covers travel,
accommodation, training and support costs of the placement in
Melbourne, Australia. Applications are processed jointly by the POST
Program and the Janssen-Cilag country offices, and all applications need
to be submitted by the closing dates of each term intake.

RANZCP Supplementary Training
Scholarships to the POST Program
The Royal
Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
Supplementary Training Scholarships to the POST Program offer a 3-6
month clinical fellowship training program to psychiatrists from
low-resourced countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Part-scholarships will be
provided by the RANZCP as a contribution to the practice of
psychiatry in the region and to strengthen the linkages and
collaboration between College Fellows and psychiatrists working in
different psychiatric services in the region.
These scholarships are limited and are available only to
psychiatrists from low-resource countries. For

WHO Global Research Fellowship in
Service Development (POST Program)
Training
for psychiatrists and mental health professionals in the planning
and evaluation of community mental health care is available through
the POST Program for a 2 to 3-month course. The training program is
designed to be flexible and individually tailored to accommodate the
needs of participants.
The curriculum has been shaped with a range
of training and field experience,
in particular for those who want to do training courses
in community-based service development and research training in
programme evaluation. The
skills, knowledge and attitudes will be applicable to developing and
delivering mental health care in primary health care settings as
well as more established community mental health services.
